These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using Yohaku Timer (the “Service”), provided by Reed Craft (“we”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. This English version is provided for reference; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
The Service
The Service is a free Pomodoro timer that runs in your browser. No sign-up or login is required.
Saved records
- Record and preference data is stored in your browser, and we keep no backup copy. Usage information such as actions and planned durations is sent for analytics as described in the Privacy Policy
- Records can be lost when you clear browser data, close a private window, or your device fails. Lost records cannot be recovered
- To keep important records, export them with “Move records with a file” under “Records” on the timer screen
Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited:
- Using the Service for illegal purposes
- Putting excessive load on our servers or network, unauthorized access, or anything else that interferes with the Service
- Copying, republishing, redistributing or selling the Service’s illustrations, text or software beyond private use
- Infringing our rights or the rights of others
Rights
Rights in the Service’s illustrations, text, software and other content belong to us or their rightful owners.
Timer accuracy
- Device sleep, browser power saving, a muted device and similar conditions can delay the time display or the end sound, or stop the sound from playing. We do not guarantee accurate timing or that notifications will reach you
- Do not use the Service where a timing error could affect safety or health, such as cooking, taking medicine or driving
Disclaimer
- For damage arising from use of the Service, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to direct damage that would ordinarily arise
- We are not responsible for data lost because of the state of your browser or device
- We do not guarantee the continuity or quality of the Service
Maintenance and support
We work to keep improving the Service, but please note:
- We make no explicit promise about how often updates come, or what they contain
- We do not guarantee support for future browsers or devices
- We respond to bug reports and inquiries where we can, but cannot promise a reply or a fix
Changes and termination
We may change features of the Service or end it without prior notice.
Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms when needed. Revised Terms take effect when posted on this page. Significant changes will be announced on this site in advance.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and disputes concerning the Service are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
