How we handle inquiries

Reed Craft (“we”) handles information received through the contact form shared by our services, including Yohaku Timer, as described below. For information handled while you use a service, see that service’s privacy policy (Yohaku Timer’s is here). This English version is provided for reference; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

Information we receive

The page you open the form from also passes a service identifier (for example, pomodoro), the page’s display language and the form version. Theme names, timer records and what you typed in “Working on” are not passed.

Please do not include passwords, payment details or the contents of your timer records.

How we use it

Form provider

The form runs on a service from Tally BV (Belgium), which states that it stores data on servers within the EU. Displaying and submitting the form also sends network information such as your IP address to Tally. See Tally’s privacy policy for how Tally handles it.

Analytics and other services

Your message and email address are never sent to Google Analytics or other access analytics. The contact form has no access analytics.

We do not currently send inquiry contents to external AI services. Before we do, we will revise this page.

Replies

We reply to the email address you enter. We cannot promise a reply or a fix, and we cannot reply without an email address. Replies may be in Japanese.

Retention and deletion

We generally keep inquiry information for one year from receipt. We review it monthly and delete completed inquiries received at least one year earlier. If a response or investigation is ongoing, we record the reason, keep the information only as long as needed, and review the extension each month.

In addition to the time until the monthly review, information deleted in Tally remains in Trash for 90 days before automatic permanent deletion. Information is therefore not all permanently deleted immediately at the one-year mark. We also review copies we control, such as reply emails and exports, under the same policy.

We may retain useful findings as issues or improvement ideas after removing information that could identify a person.

Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

To request disclosure, correction or deletion of what you sent, use the contact form. After confirming your identity, for example by the email address you used, we will respond in accordance with the law.

Changes to this page

We may change this page when needed. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
